「Great hotel Great staff Great food Plenty of free parking. Room was very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Had breakfast and this was V good. Would / will stay here again. Would highly recommend. 」

「Didn’t know what to expect, as some reviews are a bit harsh. We were greeted on News Years Eve by a friendly young lady who gave us instructions to our room - which was in a separate building (but up different stairs if going through the hotel). Ideal accessible room round the back - you can drive the car and park outside the room more or less. Room over looked the pool area. Room itself was plenty big enough for 3 adults. V clean, super ‘Dove’ body wash/shampoo/conditioner and body cream....

「Had a call day before to ask what time we was checking in and give us useful information about the area and what to do. Lady at check in was super nice gave us more tips on the area. Room was warm and clean when arrived. Had kettle and microwave and a mini fridge, no cutlery or plates but that was fine with us. If walking down to the town, it is a very steep hill and takes 15 minutes for the unfit lol. Overall good stay and would stay again. 」

「Warm and very clean accommadation, exvellent breakfast, staff so helpful . In the room maybe some different teas (mint camomile etc ) I bring my own as I dont bring breakfast tea, but I'm just being picky. Crrtainly reccomend staying her. 」

「We booked a superior double room which was lovely, shower was a brilliant pressure! The bed was very squishy though so overnight if your partner moves so do you and if you have a bad back it will not be comfortable! Breakfast was nice plenty of options we had the burgers for our evening meal which was delicious and the drinks were very reasonable. Friendly gastro pub atmosphere with wonderfully friendly staff. The walk round the reservoir is walking distance from the hotel and we had a good...

「The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was extremely comfortable with a large, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge and amazing, double sinks, huge shower and a bath, very modern. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we were very happy with our stay there.」

「The hotel is very picturesque and characterful. The room was well appointed and decorated. You can eat downstairs in the pub and there was a good menu choice and a range of ales and lagers. Our food was very tasty. Breakfast options are limited. 」

「Amazing! We were initially put in Room 3 which we found a little disappointing for what we had paid. We asked for Room 5 (our very favourite room) and we were delighted to change rooms (although slightly confused why we hadn’t been offered that one first?). Room 5 was stunning and impeccably clean and inviting, although very ( a little too) warm on arrival Our bar meal was excellent, the bar manager was wonderful and kept the real fire stoked all evening which enhanced the cosy pub...
