「Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. 」

「Very comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast in an old and well kept pub. The room was very clean, roomy and cosy. Bathroom worked well and had hot water always. The staff were kind and helpful. We had two days where there was no breakfast because it was Christmas and they discounted those two nights but also provided some oatmeal tubs for us and extra bits for the morning which we appreciated. 「Hotel room was perfect for a family very comfy beds and pillows, shower was a delight felt like i was getting a massage. Swimming pool was nice but changing rooms and toilets needed cleaning very dirty and run down. Food was very dissapointing and restaurant washy even open on the Tuesday night so had to find somewhere to eat. Breakfast was poor 13.95 for a full english and left a lot to desire for portion size and taste. Had some cheesy chips for lunch that were undercooked and tasteless....

「Very efficient check in where I was met with a smile. Exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and the price was very resonable. Food was good as was the service. 」

「I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly...

「Our room was very, very clean; linens crisp and nice, soft towels. The breakfast was displayed beautifully; fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, fresh bread, homemade pastries, cereals, yogurts, juices. Greg and Jackie so welcoming and friendly!」

「We would love to stay again, really enjoyed it. Room was comfortable, dinner & breakfast both relaxed and beautifully cooked. Dog freindly, so was great for us. The space is understandibly put aside mostly for diners with tables set up, but the bar area could really do with being larger and more comfy seating. Posh, obnoxious kids took over in the bar which was annoying, but that is not the establishments fault.」
