「We had 5 nights in late October to revisit North Yorkshire. The White Swan was an excellent location to do this.」

「We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...

「Good location to attend a wedding down the road. Parking available both sides of the hotel. The family room had plenty of space and included a double and 2 single beds. Tea/coffee facilities included in room. We weren't informed there would be no food on the evening we arrived however, other parties checking in on the same day were informed via email. We visited a pub down the road which served lovely food and was only a 15 min walk away. The hotel's bar was open. Nice bar/reception area to sit...

「Perfect location next to the pub which does fantastic food. Very high end cottage in both style & comfort, very clean too & having a courtyard for the dogs was great as we could sit outside with them. Would definitely stay again. 」

「We had a clean cosy room with a comfortable bed and pillows with Coffee, Tea and biscuits on a Tray in the room. The hotel is on farmland, the room was very quiet at night with an owl hooting early morning. The breakfasts were very good with cereals, juices, yoghurts and pastries to choose from, followed by a good cooked English breakfast. Becky was very helpful and made all guests feel welcome. Friendly family pets are often in the Bar. 」

Restaurant meals are also really good. The area is really quiet and peaceful. Plenty of private car parking. Will definitely stay there again. 」
