The room was very small but sufficient for the price bracket. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. One member of staff was very over stressed, frequently ignored people at reception for a long period of time, complained a lot about his workload, made it seem that getting a table for dinner was a really big deal and inconvenient despite there only being three tables eating when I was there. Asking for a drink in the evening felt like a big inconvenience. Whilst he was polite when you did get his attention you were made to feel that everything was just too much for him despite the place being practically empty. Some background music would have also made it much more pleasant. The evening meal was excellent

This is a budget property and I paid a budget price. The positive - breakfast was pretty good. The not so positive - no hairdryer in the room, duvet was very thin and no top sheet either. Overnight roadworks meant a lot of noise (obviously this is not the hotel’s fault). I was twice woken up by people running along the corridor and knocking on my door. Very limited dining options - I was told that I could only get bar food and had to book a time within a specific one hour period. I declined.

Everything we needed for a overnight stay. Except shortish of plug sockets to charge phones . But in general a nice hotel

Food was good, service was good although the receptionist took a while to appear. Bed was so uncomfortable and walls fairly thin, could here noise through the night. Good to be able to have dog with us though.

Liked the view from the room window accross the loch, and has a great location only a few minutes drive from fort william. The staff were friendly especially the cleaner who came running out after me to say id left my toothbrush behind. Not too impressed by the room itself though, it was a bit tired looking with stains on the carpet and rusty brown bits in the shower screen. Also the walls are thin enough to clearly hear neighbouring guests. To be fair it wasnt an expensive hotel so its not bad for the money.

It has an amazing view of the mountains however it is an outdated hotel, it’s simple and old-fashion. The food was good and decent. The only concerns I have is the address, it didn’t appear on Apple Maps, the sign of the location (drived at night so it wasn’t easy to find), not soundproof (heard footsteps from other rooms). The staff was very polite and very greeting overall.
