I liked the gardens they had. I liked that it was a bit set off from the street, and the back rooms were quiet. Their price compared to other close was excellent. For fisherman, i liked the area to clean fish, and an outdoor shower after a long day of fishing. I liked their 'continental breakfast', to get juice, cereal, fruit, and coffee as complimentary.

The garden was absolutely beautiful. It was awesome to stay there and experience fort Bragg and be able to bring our dog as well! Would recommend and stay there again!

The gazebo with the lights on it was festive and a nice place to sit at night and is probably beautiful in Spring and Summer when the roses are in bloom. The first room I was given had an overflowing toilet, the plunger and towels to absorb water were still in the bathroom, so I think there was no communication between maintenance and front desk. The next room was "clean", but there was food in the fridge from previous guest, and a drawer full of food, so I don't think housekeeping thoroughly cleans between guests. Both the fridge and microwave were in need of cleaning and disinfecting. Made me think maybe the room was "cleaned" but not really disinfected. Will never stay here again. Front desk did say they were "sorry I had to see that" to the toilet issue.

Good location. Fairly priced. Poor housekeeping. Trash not taken out. Bed not made and room not cleaned. Very small breakfast area resulting in congestion around food area. Too noisy in breakfast area.

They had issues on their end resolved before I even knew there was an issue - apparently they had overbooked and in doing so simply upgraded me before I got there so as to accommodate all I had requested!! Later helped me to find what I needed locally and were very knowledgeable of the area. They really summed up my trip PERFECTLY!!!

When I checked in I was given room (#134) which was absolutely unacceptable. The carpet was stained, one of the pieces of furniture look like a dog had chewed it and the smelled musty. I immediately asked for another room #140 which was only marginally better. I would not recommend this place to anyone !

Disappointing
First off the room that they gave my was not cleaned from the previous people so they had to find us another room. So the next room someone wiped the toilet seat and left hair all over it or the room was not even cleaned, the shower door leaked water onto the floor so we had to throw towels down, the bed was just awful hard as a rock one Sid of the bed was so broken down when my husband sat down he said he felt like he was going to slide right off, no checkout instructions, so we took the key card back up to the office and the guy who was working was not friendly he just said leave it there. I’ve stayed here once before and had a good experience but this time it was not good I will be staying at another hotel.

Was happily surprised at the breakfast options which we did not expect. With food prices rather high in this coastal community helped our budget to not need to purchase breakfast. We were placed in the rear of the property with the gardens between our room and the street. Was thrilled to see solar panels on the roof. The location was convenient and the property very accessible for seniors.We enjoyed our stay.
