「Welcoming friendly team, plans had changed and received a free upgrade which was great. Spacious clean room with good facilities. Well equipped gym and nice size pool are available to use. Hotel was very good service abs facilities. Regretted eating in the restaurant for dinner. Restaurant managers customer service questionable and main meal was not at the quality we would have expected for 2 AA rosette restaurant, hot breakfast also basic. 」

「A lovely location, a very short drive/taxi from the town centre. Only there a night but saw deers in the garden and such a beautiful setting. Host was there to welcome us, and easily accessible if needed. 」

「Superb location and good choice of food. As it is a brewery there is a great choice of real ales. Very comfortable rooms and a really hearty breakfast. Well worth the money!」

「The location was pretty nice, being central to the Bury St. Edmunds town center. The location of the room was very difficult to find because the navigation apps we used put us far away from the actual room. We luckily found a mailman who took us to the right location. Other than that, the room was alright and comfortable enough. I’m not too sure it was entirely worth the cost, but it was alright. I’ll say 7/10.」

「I have stayed in the hotel for several time and always enjoy it. A great hotel if you want to visit the city. I never try to dinner but the breakfast is superb. Also a nice bar which provides great selection of drinks」

「Brilliant location for visiting all the main attractions in Bury St Edmunds. Was warmly welcomed by our host and they were flexible about check in times and us leaving the car in their car park before check in. Had a lovely quiet room which was warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Breakfast was great, with a good selection. Would definitely stay here on future visits to the area.」

「The property was tastefully furnished which reflected its historical past. There was a spacious sitting room for use by guests and a kitchen equipped for the heating and simple cooking of meals.
