"I loved the layout of the room, parking is plentiful. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and there were restaurants nearby. The morning breakfast had variety but could use more fresh fruit, berries, nuts. We also had a hard time finding the road for the hotel and if you miss the exit in the freeway it takes 28 min to get back! But that could’ve just been us. Overall I would recommend!"

"We liked that the rooms were large and had 2 double beds instead of single beds. The hair dryer was even in the bathroom. They provide shuttle service to/from airport, Vatican, Coliseum, Trastevere for a reasonable price. We used taxi service for other areas. Had nice bar and restaurant and great breakfast buffet. "Hotel Smeraldo exceeded our expectations. The driver who brought us from the airport picked us up right on time. He was a great driver and we were very comfortable in his new Mercedes. Leonardo at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. The location is close to a Piazza where there are many restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety of choices. I would definitely recommend Hotel Smeraldo."
