My husband and I had a very pleasant check-in, we arrived after dinner time. Room was easy accessible and clean, perfect for our needs. We settled in and went to take showers late, around 10pm and found that the shower gel was completely empty (it's the kind that is connected to the wall in the shower since this is California). Obviously didn't want someone coming into our room in the middle of the night to replace the bottle. So no soap for night shower or morning shower (because again, I'm getting ready in my PJ's and don't want someone coming into my room). Horrible night sleep due to bed being super uncomfortable, felt like it was over 5 years old, very lumpy. Breakfast was great, good choices, juice was great, not watered down like most hotels. Waffle machine, fruit, toast, cereal, fig bars, lots of options! Not sure if I would stay here again, but we have family that just moved into town and not many options in Benicia. Would definitely make sure not same room 217 (ADA accessible).
