「Our room had recently been refurbished and may also have been an upgrade (ask for room numbers 10-16). Facilities and decor were excellent, with a walk-in shower, comfortable bed and free parking. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the restaurant was very busy. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was of a good standard. Staff were friendly and professional so we would have no hesitation in recommending the Royal Hotel.」

「Wonderfull stay in a excellently converted former stable building behing the main house. Perfectly clean and cozy. Best for a solo traveler or couple used to a smaller room. Free parking in the courtyard and just a few minute walk to center of town. Owner was very friendly and offered travel tips.」

「 Bedrooms a in need of deep clean as have quite a musky smell. Entry vennel & courtyard in need of clear up and upgrading. Not recommended for children due to incredibly steep staircase」

「Like everything except bathroom as it was outside. Some reason owner put us in the upstairs room which was a part of the loft conversation. Not very comfortable 」
