「es war sauber, das Personal freundlich. Doch der Gesamteindruck ist: dass vieles so nach 80iger Jahre wirkt. Die Einrichtung passt nicht zusammen, es hat wenig Steckdosen und Lampen (deshalb etwas düster), der Fernseher flimmert, der Rolladen klemmt, der Skiraum ist ein alter Duschraum. 「Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. 「The hostel is in a good location. Easy walk downhill to the ferry. Hostel also has a restaurant close to the ferry. Food there was very good and reasonable. The breakfast was very basic. The hostel needs to replace its towels and sheets. 」

「Wir haben unsere eine Nacht in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Das Zimmer war sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt fast keine Wünsche offen und ist auch für Langschläfer geeignet, da man (zumindest sonntags) bis 11:30h schlemmen kann.」

「This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. 「Very cozy room, with nice mountain view, quiet location, very helpful owners. The breakfast is consistent and the restaurant provides good choices for dining in. I enjoyed a three days stay here, for hiking - many choices nearby. I will like to visit again.」

「What a unique and interesting property with an amazing Staff. One Person in particular, I believe her name was Leonia, went over and above to help us in any way possible . She was extremely caring and even made us food baskets for our early morning flight as we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time. We stayed in the tower and had amazing mountains and lake view. 「Das Zimmer war für mich viel zu warm in der Nacht. Wegen Verkehrslärm konnte ich das Fenster nicht öffnen. Das Zimmer ist sehr modern und zweckoptimiert. Frühstück gut und ausreichend Auswahl. TG kostet 9 CHF extra.」
