「The hotel had a lovely atmosphere with well chosen antique furniture. Staff were both helpful, polite and efficient. Happy to help with a last minute change of booking and also room change to allow us a quieter room on our last night. Breakfast was very good with a great range of cereals and fruit. 「Lovely hotel near the centre of Keswick and not too far from the lake. We booked a lake view, the room was comfortable and warm. The room comes with a good breakfast to start your day. Parking is a bonus, we had to pay for this as we had not booked direct with the hotel. You can park for free out the front of the hotel if you are lucky to get a space. Staff are polite and friendly. Great weekend, thank you. 」

「Had a lovely stay here recently, the staff were really great and very friendly, even allowing me to stay in my room later than the official check-out time as I was getting ready for a wedding. 「We thought the hosts were really lovely and the location of the guesthouse was ideal for us for walking. There are two pubs within walking distance which serve fantastic food: Coledale inn and Royal Oak. However, we had a downstairs room and seemed to have been really unlucky with the guests upstairs who woke us up every hour during the night. Thankfully, we were only staying a couple of nights as we were absolutely exhausted by the end. Would recommend a stay, just maybe ask for an upstairs...
