"This is not a place for outsiders. All of the other guests in the (tiny) bunks were poor Indian men on their way to be, say, a guest laborer somewhere (one man showed me his visa to Ghana). "I booked this place 2 months in advance. I never stayed at this place due to them not accepting foreigners. Upon arriving from a late flight, I called beforehand to let them know on my way. Once I arrived they told me that I could not stay there, it was only for Indian nationals. And that foreigners were not welcome. "The staff were really great and the apartment was clean but the stay is on a roof without lift and very difficult to carry the luggage. The location give on the map is wrong and took almost 30 mins to find the place "

"Booking was not confirmed by hotels.com when I reached there till Mrng.so there was an issue. Flush not working in the bathroom.had to use jetspray. No lights in few showers.atleast there was hot water. The corner part of the dormitory did not get enough AC. There were huge snorers so it’s hard to sleep there and the room echoes. There were mosquitoes too"

"I have always enjoyed my stay at Theory9, however, this time there were extremely noisy guests living on the same floor who didn't sleep till 2am, cooked a full meal in the kitchenette, left the dishes unwashed and unusable for the other guests on the floor. The staff saw this but didn't say anything to them. There was one night where they came back to the room at 1:30am and wouldn't talk softly at all. That woke me up and I couldn't fall back asleep. Just a terrible experience overall."

"I typically write reviews after completing my stay, but the experience has been so great, I’m writing it now. I came to Mumbai as a tourist for two days with my family. Hotel and rooms: Luxurious. The rooms, especially the bathroom, are very spacious. My parents said they felt they were staying in a palace of sorts. Food: The breakfast buffet is impeccable. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels with a similar spread (in quantity), but none that tasted as good as Sofitel’s. The chefs need to take a bow. The best vada pav, waffles, and baked goods. Everything was delicious. Staff/service: Also impeccable - 10/10. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The hotel had a complementary cocktail night and it was out of this world. The best drinks and appetizers. Location: I personally love BKC. It feels very modern. The hotel felt close enough to the remainder of the city - especially west Bandra. Just fyi - I took a taxi to get here from the airport and it was reasonable at 1200 rupees. Everything is so immaculately done here. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed three nights at Taj Mahal Tower Hotel and it was a very enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel opposite Gateway of India was very convenient with shopping and extensive choice of food outlets in the nearby colaba area. The iconic Taj Palace hotel is connected and most public areas are shared by both hotels. The welcome ceremony conducted on check in is very unique and made us feel special. The staff are always friendly and accommodating from the front desk to the housekeeping and food and beverage outlets. The complimentary tour was very informative and it is highly recommended if you have time to complete. A little inconvenience is the lobby is always crowded with visitors not staying at the hotel but overall a very good stay with the usual Taj excellence which makes this hotel great. "
