「We enjoyed the Chateau Arenal very much. If I could add a 1/2 star I would do so. It has a beautiful view, the pool and hot tub are lovely, the food is good and interesting, the drinks are delicious and the people are all amazingly friendly, helpful and kind. My only slightly negative comment is the remote location. While we enjoyed ourselves and loved the view, it was quite a drive to get anywhere.」

「The property is amazing for the nature lover. It’s a bit remote so no food options other than their restaurant around. Rooms are mediocre (cabin like). The staff is really nice and hard working. The thermal pool is lukewarm temperature not really hot. 」

「This was the perfect spot for our family’s first time to La Fortuna and Costa Rica. If you don’t mind the drive into town for activities, which we didn’t at all, this place is quiet and beautiful! We loved sitting at both open-air restaurants and having a drink while our kids swam in the hot springs. The hiking trail and river slide/swimming were beautiful. We saw lots of birds and heard all the cicadas and howler monkeys in the evenings. We would definitely stay again!」

「Saubere zweckmäßige Zimmer. Frühstück auf Bestellung in einer sehr schönen Parkanlage. Fortuna ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Hier großes Restaurantangebot. Schwimmhalle mit 25 m Becken. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen 」

「Swimming pool and walkable distance to downtown 」

「Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und war sehr sauber. Leider war in einem der kleinen Jacuzzis kein Wasser und dke Poolbar war nicht besetzt, wir hätten gerne ein paar Cocktails im Pool getrunken. Beim Frühstück konnte man sich entscheiden zwischen Traditionell, Amerikanisch oder Pancakes. Das fanden wir etwas schade, da wir gerne auch Grüchte zum Frühstück gehabt hätten aber keine Pancakes wollten. Ansonsten waren auch alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett und sprachen super englisch.」
