「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「We stayed here one night, we will be back we loved it, lovely clean tidy room, homely, not kneen that dogs could stay in our room I'm very fussy! We had an evening meal the food was excellent a sunday roast very very homemade and very tasty, some nice pubs around the street to check out too.」

「The food ( dinner and breakfast) was beautifully cooked. The homely atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. The staff helpful and the room had everything you need and was clean and tidy. The pub also smile English and I appreciated that it retained that . Nice to have free parking outside the door.」

「A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!」
