「Hotel room was nice but in need of a little work, staff was very nice, pool was nice, views were great, the restaurant and bar are not open though which was a big bummer. The included breakfast was typical for an included breakfast but if you’re staying for a bit they weren’t rotating options at all so just an fyi it’s the same everyday. 「Staying at the Flamboyan was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to St. John/St. Thomas. The property is very nicely set up with amazing rooms, clean pools, a nice restaurant/bar, and stellar views of Magens Bay. Both pools are very clean with the top pool being well located near the rooms and bar/restaurant area. We did notice the hot tub near the lower pool was not working and was only about 85 degrees. 「A) Poor communication; my messages repeated 3 times in 2 weeks, were never responded to. B) Front desk staff needs training; they don’t know how to smile. C) We were fortunate to be in a renovated unit; very clean. But you never know in advance what type of room you would get. D) Balcony overlooks the ocean; great view E) Food was average. F) They get an ‘F’ for not maintaining the main road approaching the development. 」
