「The host Margot’s is a very friendly guy. He was also very helpful in assisting me to find transportation to the apartment. The apartment has the feeling of home. It was wonderful to wake up to the singing of birds in the morning even though I am in the heart of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable which made me sleep very well during my entire stay. Shopping, dining and historical monuments are all within walking distance. The entire city is accessible through an efficient public transit...

「Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice.」

「Die Wohnung liegt im 4. Stock eines großen Wohnhauses, ohne Aufzug. Ich fand das kein Problem, sollte man aber wissen. Die Wohnung ist vollständig eingerichtet, aber nicht unbedingt in bestem Zustand. Beim Duschen hatte ich plötzlich den Wasserhahn in der Hand, nicht ideal. Duschkabine und Toilette sind in der Küche. Die Toilette hat eine Tür, ist aber extrem eng. Ich war alleine in der Wohnung und habe die Tür offen gelassen. Herd unx Waschmaschine habe ich nicht genutzt, sinx aber vorhanden. 」

「Tolle Lage, aber leider hat das Gebäude großen Renovierungsstau. Das Appartement liegt im Hochparterre (nicht bequem) und hat das kleine Bad auf gleicher Ebene. Küche und Schlafzimmer sind nur durch eine 8 Stufige Innentreppe erreichbar. Fenster sind klein zur Strasse bzw Innenhof, sodass wenig Tageslicht und Ventilation erfolgt. Der Geruch als deutliche Mischung von billigem Putzmittel und Menschlichem empfängt und begleitet den Gast. Alle Möbel, Wäsche, Geschirr, Handtücher sind geprägt von...

「The overall impression was positive. We did not have any concerns about the apartment or amenities, or service. Especially the location was perfect! If I ever go to Riga again, I would love to stay in the same area. The only problem was the absence of the elevator, while trying to climb up (with or without a luggage) on the 6th floor. For older people it would have been simply impossible.」
