「Farouk vom Empfang sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Hala vom Empfang auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für ein 5 Stern Hotel erwartet man mehr. Bei Ramadan nicht empfehlenswert, keine Musik am Tag, ausser ein Restaurant alles geschlossen. Man sollte die Gäste schon informieren, dass es draussen alles geschlossen ist, finde ich ok, aber nicht im Hotel. 」

「My seond stay in this hotel. I booked this hotel because I want to have some swimming time and good sleeping time within long transit. However, the pool is out of service during my stay and when I booked the hotel (just 12 hours before check in) I have not got any notice on this. What a disappointment.」

「It's late March 2025 and we have just returned from 8 nights on Banana Island (a couple aged 55 and 62), and enjoyed it immensely. We knew beforehand that it was during the month of Ramadan so not all facilities would be open - some of the restaurant options on the island were closed and most you needed to eat inside. On mainland the shops in the malls were all closed during the days but you could wander through them. This had the advantages of it being a bit quieter and we got 2 nights...
