「The grounds of this hotel are lovely. The hotel itself is old and the facility is aging. Many things don't work or break. The Lakeside room I had was not really lakeside, you could not hear the lapping of the waves - which is what I had hoped for. The food is overpriced and the menu limited. It is convenient and tourists might enjoy it, but for the business traveler it is a disappointment.」

「The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) 」
