「Good location, walkable distance to old square and very close to el malecon. Clean and tidy, nice breakfast, excellent services and offered everything you need and advice especially if you are not familiar with Havana. The condition of hostal is satisfactory. Only thing is, may not be able to access to internet in the room」

「We've just stayed at La Rosa de Ortega for a week. It was amazing! The area is really quiet, but still distinctively Cuban. For us, living in Havana Vieja would definitely not have been as relaxing as living a little bit outside of the main area. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes with a local Taxi to get to the main attractions of Havana. But you can easily spend a whole day staying at La Rosa de Ortega without going to the city. I loved the welcome drink in the lobby, because it helped me feel relax after a long travel. They even taught me how to dance salsa. The hotel is more beautiful than those photos show on the website. The hotel doesn’t located on the most popular street, but just a few minutes’ walk I can reach everywhere which I want to visit. Their breakfast was the best during my stay in Cuba....
