「We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way. It is a mile from the route. We had a great dinner at the Eagle Barge Inn before going to hostel. Very small room with bunk bed and shared bathroom. Have to rent towels. End of season so no breakfast, but a kitchen was available to use. We walked to the Well of Seven Heads coffee shop for breakfast. 」

「We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. Saying this the bed was big and so so comfy after walking all day. Their was a small domino stove top, small fridge for the wine and crockery and cup/glasses all was...

「Our room was spacious and comfortable with views directly over the canal. Bathroom was well equipped with a fantastic shower. Free car park for residents and also a cafe downstairs.」

「We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way. It is another hour’s walk from the route so we were grateful to Simon for picking us up and dropping us off the next morning, for a small fee. Comfortable room. We ate dinner at the Old Station, a short walk away, which was very good. Good breakfast.」

「Owner arranged early entry and communicated well over WhatsApp. Room was very comfortable and little touches like the muffin and milk in the fridge for an afternoon cuppa go a long way. Everything was well planned out for breakfast the following Morning and wow what a choice ! House is situated amongst trees and I would highly recommend! Would not hesitate to stay again if I was in the area!」
