「Some dirty towels in bathroom and pool water not great quality. Was offered take away breakfast as leaving before breakfast started. It contained stale pastries and fizzy water and absolutely rotten apple. But otherwise hotel was nice. Rooms spacious」

「Set in a beautiful part of Edinburgh, the hotel is decorated stylishly with an eclectic mix of art and fixtures. The staff are friendly, the room was lovely with a pretty view across the back gardens of buildings on the row. Breakfast was amazing and the service was excellent. I'd definately recommend this hotel and will certainly be back. 」

「Liked that it was very cosy, very comfortable bed, exceptionally helpful and polite staff. Liked the dining room and bar areas and the open fires. Impressive to see the pool and tennis courts. Very comfortable and relaxing stay and would definitely go back. Wasn't expecting nearly as much as it delivered. Small constructive criticisms: shampoo is in a container that is inaccessible from the bath; be good to have some loose soap for use there. The exterior (and some interior areas) could do with...

「Nice and cozy flat with all the utilities we need. The location is excellent, and it takes only 15-20 mins walk to the city centre. We stayed for 2 weeks but there’s no house keeping service as arranged, not until we checked with the reception staff, but they are really nice and helpful. We appreciated their prompt actions.」

「On a bus route. Just bit further out of town from Edinburgh Zoo. Friendly welcome at the door as we arrived. Nice clean quiet room with double bed & single bed, & en-suite with shower & bath. Nice views out over garden. Peaceful night. Very helpful hosts. Hopefully we will be back.」
