「This is a lovely grand hotel which is in need of refurbishment. The rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. There was good parking included. The breakfast buffet was ok but only had instant coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. I understand it has just got new owners who have plans to upgrade. It has great potential.」

「Hard to find any fault with our really enjoyable stay, the country environment & location is lovely. Very warm welcome to our cosy comfortable & well presented accommodation. The breakfast & coffee at The Foxes Den was superb & can see why it’s also popular with locals. Would definitely stay again. 」

「I llke staying at this hotel as it very quiet and not over crowded like the London Road branch. I was fined £60 at the London Road branch for just enquiring if they had a room that evening which they had'nt so I will never stay there again Regards Peter C. Locke」

「Nice hotel. Great location to explore sudbury /have some lovely walks. Really comfy bed. Shower a bit lacklustre and missing a piece that hid the glue etc but for the price i was happy. Bar has amazing fireplace and the mill wheel. Well worth a visit Breakfast wise you get when you pay for」

「Need to walk up staircase to rooms on first or second floor, clean and tidy, well maintained. Double glazed window keeps out noise. Good value for price.」

「I think a lot of people has reviewed on this. But I can only said air conditioning system issue need to be fix. Otherwise it is hard for other customer wants to stay. It is summer time and the air conditioning system not work. All you got is a fan will only have little help. Can you imagine stay in the room with 27C? And there is not compensation. Charging almost 100 pound per night, and it is the sleep environment we got.」
