We give a 2. Cons 1. False advertising on Expedia website. We reserved a one bedroom loft and it was quit large in the picture (Not what we got, it was probably 1/3 of the size). complained to the front desk and they gave the usual "I'm sorry about that", with nothing else said. For the 6 people it was very small. 2. It was just disappointing for what you pay and the staff did nothing to correct it. 3. Sink on main floor bathroom didn't drain...fixed same day., but, again for the reputation of being a high end hotel...disappointing. Pros 1) close to lift 2)Staff was friendly 3) hot tub / pool

Excellent location for skiing. 2 bedroom suite was large and well laid out. Only issue was the lack of a shower in the master bath? Not sure if that is common acroos the property or not. We enjoyed the restaurant and the communal hot tub. Ski storage was also very convenient.

Wonderful place to stay right in the mountains ready to ski/snowboard. Beautiful views, friendly staff, large rooms and comfortable beds. You get a full coffee pot so you can bring coffee grounds and a full kitchen setup - stove, fridge, dishwasher, etc. Very icy entrances that hadn’t been cleared resulting in many falls and the bathtub needed a good scrub which we didn’t appreciate having to do. However we would still highly recommend despite these two oversights.

This was a nice place to stay. My fiancé and I got an upgrade when checking in because the room I booked was getting worked on so instead of staying in a room with 1 queen bed we got a room with a king size bed and 2 queens. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice and clean.

I was there a night. I would say that the booking is misleading. There are several add on which means the advertised price was way off. The room was expensive especially when it’s off season and several of the amenities were closed

This was probably the best place we have stayed in Fernie yet!! And the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for months!! I would definitely recommend this resort!

Nice place to stay, a few minutes from town. I was a little disappointed with our booking. Expedia said EVERYTHING was included in our price, when we checked in, we had to pay an additional fee of $28 to park. It was a very quiet evening in the parking lot was empty.

We ventured to Lizard Creek with our daughter. Our main reason was to enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hottub. Unfortunately the hottub jets were not working at the hottub located at the pool. We found the heated pool to be quite cool and requested the temperature to be turned up. That didnt happen and we spoke to other guests who also found the pool too cold to enjoy. Our room fridge did not work, and thr coffee maker was broken as eell. The room was not very clean and requires a deep clean. The dishes were dirty and we had to wash them ourselves and wash the tub so our daughter could bathe in it. Our phone didnt work so we had to walk to the front desk or text the desk for any assistance. We were quite disappointed with our experience there but will say that the staff were very helpful and friendly

This is a gorgeous property. Our suite was well appointed with two bathrooms. We enjoyed the pool area. However the jets were not working in the hot tub. I was disappointed that the dining room and bar were not open due to off season. Had we known we would have picked up groceries. The staff at reception were very nice. Unfortunately we had a very noisy diesel powered lift machine outside our bedroom window which was turned on at 7:00 am. Since the resort was empty I feel we should have been given a different room.
