「The place was very cute but the check in for us was a nightmare. Could not get in contact with anyone and couldn’t find the exact location. Hotels.com was on the verge of finding us another place because nobody would answer the phone at the number provided when luckily another property owner knew of the place and helped us find it. Should just say in the listing to check in at Mar hotel or Don Taco.」

「Lovely accommodations. Short walk or tuk tuk ride to town. Like having a full kitchen. Beds were a bit squeaky. Owner was lovely women from Switzerland. She assisted in finding people to get us places. Was a lovely stay. Enjoyed the wildlife that surrounded our house. 」

「This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

「This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm...

「Property is in a great location. Very clean. Only two complaints we had were the walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on in other rooms, and the beds are extremely, extremely firm. Uncomfortably firm most times. Other than that the property is great. 」

「Unique experience surrounded by a lush garden. The curtains makes a very nice soft light during the day. Obviously in an open space you can't have AC... The heat can be a bit too much sometimes. Just be aware of that.」
