This hotel isn’t for the faint of heart. While it is gorgeous, and front desk staff were excellent, it’s the rooms. If you’re staying with a friend or acquaintance you’re about to know them real well. The toilet area has the sliding barn doors with no lock and won’t stay closed. I don’t know who decided putting those in hotels was great but it’s not. Then the sink and shower area are wide open with no way to block them off and on the wall across from them is a gigantic mirror so whomever is sitting on the other side can see whatever you’re doing and whatever state of undress you’re in. Zero privacy. We stayed as a family and while the beds were comfy, our kids didn’t need to be seeing any of that and even they were uncomfortable. If no privacy screen can be put up, at the very least that mirror needs to go! There’s also no microwave if you’re looking for one. There is a charge for breakfast (which we did know) but for the price of the room, and if the hotel has breakfast options, it should always be included.
