「Characterful building and a memorable stay. Room as expected was of a similar old theme (given the age of the property) and while pleasant, the en-suite bathroom was a little small for my liking. Ambience in the restaurant on the evening was second to none, and while the service itself was excellent, I hadn’t really appreciated that the half board arrangement was a cash allowance rather than an invitation to pick and choose within reason (until it came to pay the next day !) - my bad perhaps,...
