"The hotel is clean. The pool is great. The staff are very caring and attentive. The food in the evening buffet was excellent. On the downside, there is a big buidling site next door which can be quite noisy and obtrussive. Also, despite the name, the private beach is a 15 minute drive away. Hotel is fine for a short (e.g. first night / last night) holiday stay, or short business trip."

Unfortunately not many authentic Sri Lankan dishes in the flavour was lacking by saying that there was loads of dishes and condiments mainly orientated to its Indian food. overall experience was good."

"An excellent choice for the last day and night of a two week trip in Sri Lanka. Got to the hotel hours before the check in time, and was given a room straight away. There are multiple restaurants to choose from for dinner. Dinner at Ocean was fab! Cocktails at the roof top bar were nice. And the afternoon by the pool was chilled. All the staff were friendly and very helpful."

"Stayed one week in Colombo after a 2 week tour . Hotel was well maintained and friendly staff. Price was expensive for the size of the rooms and as the property is located across the street from the railway line it is noisy. Very few areas air conditioned areas to relax. Enjoyed our stay but would have preferred something quieter and with more air conditioned lounge areas."

"Great stay here on my first night in Sri Lanka. Really clean, modern, and everything you would expect from a hotel of this quality. It's also very close to Colombo Fort station which is useful if you are going to continue the trip by train! I didn't use the pool but had a drink there and it looks great - one note was that the service was quite slow! Breakfast options were vast. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was very clean and spacious. There's a bar, restaurant, and pool at the top of the building, and the sunset view from there was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful.
