We were never informed the hotel is under renovation, half of the parking was taken by storage container, forklifts blocking parking, delivery trucks parking in the middle of the driveway! Our room had “been renovated” however, the shoddiest job you can imagine. Flooring in the kitchen and bathroom stained, bathroom door wouldn’t close, kitchenette with a cooktop, no cooking utensils or pans, no silverware, and an a/c unit that sounded like an eighteen wheeler reving their engine up, and last - an adjoining room door with no lock! Pool furniture was mostly broken and a usable and the outdoor grill was filthy, had trash deposited inside and gross. We would have cancelled and demanded our money back, however, prior issue with Hotels.com didn’t allow for refunds. Done with TownPlace Suites (the lowest quality of any Marriott) and Hotels.com.
