「Very nice building with updated bathrooms. Bar was busy with dirty tables due to lack of staff. Parking is very limited. It would be nice to have bellhop service with parking issue and no elevator.」

「Staff is great and accommodating. Breakfast is good and nicely presented. Room was clean, with a bit of extra attention to bathroom (hair left in shower and bathroom floor) but overall the room was clean and had a fresh smell. Only negative is the pool area furniture - I felt the pool furniture needed some TLC. Chairs/lounge chairs and table need replacing or renovation. Umbrella that used to be there, is now missing. Furniture was in disarray, (spiderwebs, dirty, unstable and tossed about)....

Loved the creative decorating with antique and old "repurposed" items! Looking forward to a future stay with the extended family and utilizing the central lawn/BBQ kitchen/corn hole and horseshoes....」

「I need to travel to grass Valley for two months for my nursing program. I found this hotel and decided to book it based on the price and was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesn’t come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price...

「Near town, thus walkable, for its many options. Hiking and parks nearby. Each cottage is appointed well in terms of simple usage, not overdone. 2nd visit here, where we met some out of town friends, & everything worked out fine. Great coffee for their provided coffeemaker. 」
