「Property had character and the renovated interior was an exceptional touch although the surrounding plants and grass could do with some tlc. Paddock next to the house also had a brown snake that came up to the car as we were walking in, could possibly do with a mow. 」

「The staff were really welcoming and able to accommodate requests. The room had some issues with lighting (main lights flickered incessantly so we used the table lights only), the bathroom didn't have any storage or shelf for shower products or hooks near the shower for towels a day wash cloths,and the toilet didn't have a lid. The bed was one of the best we experienced along with the pillows. Breakfast was a waste of money, $39pp for hard cold poached eggs, tough bacon and a decent coffee. Save...

「The location is great and convenient. We went to Hunter Valley for hot air balloon and it was near to the balloon location. There are some restaurants and wineries nearby. The room was spacious and cozy. Some kangaroos were just outside the door!! Great experience to wild animals. 」

「This property is in a great location, very close to the lake and shops in Toronto NSW. The staff were approachable and friendly, and the room was clean. We have stayed at The Brighton before and will happily stay there again.」

「My partner and I stayed at the Macquarie 4 Star (locals referred to it as 'The Club') for one night in room 007. Access to the property, parking, and check-in was very easy. There wasn't much to do at check-in other than receive the key cards, give them my contact details, and choose whether we wanted to pre-book the buffet breakfast (not included with room, additional $20pp if pre-booked or $25pp if you show up unannounced). I was a bit miffed at the venue for charging my card a few days...

「We stayed in a 2 bedroom loft cottage. It was lovely and spacious, comfy beds (although I would suggest bringing own pillow). The garden's were lovely and nice pools. The tv in our cottage was in a strange position, ie not in front of the lounges which was a bit frustrating to watch. The restaurant was also being renovated during our stay so no-where to eat but there was a range of courtesy buses available to pubs etc. But all up nice place to stay. 」
