Harrison Hot Springs offers more than just access to mineral water—it’s known for providing peace and relaxation. However, my experience on December 18th and 19th was disrupted by unexpected noise. Renovation sounds near the main spa on the 18th and chainsaw activity by the main pool on the 19th detracted from the tranquil atmosphere. I also witnessed an unsafe incident where a worker cut a tree branch directly above a guest without issuing any safety warnings or asking the person to move. This was concerning and poorly timed.
At check-in on December 18th around 2:00 PM, my experience with Sinji, a front desk employee, was less than satisfactory. Despite there being no other guests in line, he was overly serious, unwelcoming, and dismissive of my questions. When I inquired about events and activities mentioned on Harrison Hot Springs’ Instagram page, he inaccurately stated that there were no events at the resort. Unfortunately, this caused me to miss the complimentary tea and cookies offered between 4:00 and 4:30 PM, which I later discovered on my own.
While Sinji’s approach was rushed and inattentive, I’ve previously interacted with other front desk staff who were much more accommodating. The other team members have been welcoming, patient, and thorough in answering questions during check-in, providing a much more positive experience.
Overall, I hope the resort will address these issues to ensure it maintains the high standard of relaxation and hospitality it is known for
