「We were surprised that for a very high property fee. There was no ice no ice trays no coffee no amenities on the property at all. Also, GPS does not get you to the property. We had to download an app on our phone and in just reading the description of the property were able to get directions, however those were even wrong as it said to turn it to Phillips 66 gas station and it has been a gas station since 2018 」

「This is a very non conventional, well appointed, scenic and peaceful place with loads of central areas for guests to enjoy! It’s very different from your ordinary B&B, resort or hotel. 「We found the hotel quite by chance after our previous booking at Asheville was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the hotel, the location, the staff, the hot tub, the hiking trails, and the trout I had in the Tapoco Tavern was one of the best meals I have had during my time in the US. We live in the UK but will definitely recommend the lodge to our family living in Atlanta and anybody we know visiting North Carolina 」
