"I had 2 separate stays at Maison de Chine, one night first, then I left for a night to visit Alishan and came back for one more night at this hotel. The first night, they gave me a room on the 5th floor, it was one of the old rooms, which has not been renovated in many years. It felt too humid and the old carpet wasn't pleasant. Not at all what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. For my second stay, I got a room on a higher floor that was recently renovated, and it was so much...

"Room is very inconvenient, the only furniture is the bunk bed and locker. There’s no elevated surface to put items on. There is only luggage elevator which you’d still need to lift your baggages to put them in. Staff were great, they recommended us a lot of places to visit. The shared kitchen and hang out spaces are nice too. I’d only recommend this for solo travelers."
