「A terrible experience. Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.」

「Very spacious room. Convenient location, just opposite to train station and close to the main shopping street. One drawback is lack of loading zone to unload luggage.」

「The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location, although the carpark is very small and was fully occupied by the time I arrived. Customers using the hotel restaurant. Public parking is nearby at £1 a night. The room was very clean and well presented, however some of the furniture is rather tired looking. There's a good choice of quality tea, coffee biscuits and bottled water in the room. I'm very happy with my stay. Sadly I had to leave early and missed the breakfast. 」

「On arrival our booking was wrong. We had requested minimal stairs for my wife and a classic twin room. They had designated a double. We were given an upgrade to a suite. Great! but it was up a flight of stairs. In the end my wife managed them with a struggle. Problem apart this is a lovely hotel.」
