「Nice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall. It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect. 」

「The staff were so welcoming and lovely it made the stay so enjoyable. There was an issue with WiFi and the staff couldn't apologise enough. It did not matter to us as we could enjoy the stay without the phones/emails etc. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Will definitely visit again.」

「A lovely place to stay. From the minute we walked in wa we was made to feel welcome. The room was very clean and had a very comfortable king-size bed a a fabulous walkin shower. The food was amazing and the home made crumpets are out of this world. 」

「The picture advertised was not what was offered. The cleanliness was shocking, stains on duvets, towels, bed sheets and pillows - think bad and disgusting and you aren’t even close. Had 3 nights booked, left on day one. Poor health and safety with cables trailing across floors, screws in the carpet and a lighter found under a bed (I was with 4 kids, shocking). Now. The park itself is nice and the properties there independently owned and operated - some looked lovely, we just got a poor...

「We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. 」

「We had a lovely one night stay. The hot tub was great and the beds were very comfy. Having a drying room was a good bonus and we appreciated being able to borrow things like plastic glasses to use in the hot tub and sliders. 」

「The property was fair and they did have a good breakfast. But that the town who is lacking in dining and other amenities it's a very small town. One would be better to stay in Princetown. 」

「The Tavistock House Hotel is a little gem within a world heritage listed historic stannary market town. We were warmly greeted by our host and escorted to a lovely decorated and well appointed room. A good choice of local eatery's is available within a short stroll. A tasteful continental breakfast was available to ready us for a day sightseeing in the town and local area. Highly recommended. 」
