This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here at the Bostonian this time around was not a five star check-in went well. They held our luggage. Staff was very nice but when we got to the room, there was no fridge no coffee no coffee pot no coffee mugs no coffee supplies. There were stains on the bedding. The phone didn’t work to call room service. we called room service from our cell phones. They delivered our food with no silverware and then we had no hot water the entire night we had no shampoo. There was only two conditioners for such a beautiful place in a beautiful location. We were very disappointed in this stay. It’s unfortunate.

The staff was excellent and the building was nice. But I feel since we booked through Expedia, the staff checking me in asked who I booked through, we were put in the bad section of the hotel. Our room was in the back and there was a night club banging all night till 2am. The view was a brick wall. The room was drafty and asked for xtra blankets only gave us 1. Friends booked through the hotel and their room was great with excellent view. They said they had a great night sleep and was a quiet night. Not sure I would stay there again if given an option.

The staff at the front desk are wonderful! The location is the best for strolls to the North End and you can walk to the Garden! The rooms are clean and the breakfast is great, get the coffee! 8/10

Check-in was basically a person handing us a room key card. Any info we received was because we asked. I overheard the very attentive man at the next station check someone else in and he gave much more info, and was so much friendlier. Many questions I asked were based on what I overheard. Room was outdated. Room service does not exist - there is an adjoining restaurant but you have to pay cash or card because they are not connected to the hotel and the food was not good, but expensive. Overall disappointed with the hotel.

Our second time staying here. Both times I'd give 4 stars overall. However, this time we used valet parking. My daughter was returning to college after our weekend trip so she had everything in the car. We left her clothes and completely forgot she had wrapped gifts in the back for someone in the backseat. When our car was returned to us upon check out, there was an item on my front seat that's normally in my center console and later we realized two of her gifts were not in the bag. I take responsibility for leaving them in there - but we will never use their valet again, which will likely deter us from staying all together.

Would not stay there again. The hotel is ok at best but very old and a run down in the rooms, the pictures online are definitely not a good representation of what you will be staying in. It would be what I would expect to stay in for $75-100 per night. So do yourself a favor and book one of the hotels nearby.

- [ ] tv didn’t work the man who came was so great he said this happens all the time because the maids move all the furniture around and knock things loose (conforming the crooked furniture) then the next day the tv wasn’t working again we made do because it was just more of an inconvenience at this point with all the other things - [ ] furniture was all just slighting crooked i know that’s not a big thing but like it was all at least 2 inches off just kinda annoying bc i had to push it closer to the wall or shift it - [ ] bathroom dirty just obviously things needed to be wiped down. There was like old toothpaste residue , and like soap residue on the back of the door. spider and web all on the bathroom door as well - [ ] weird treatment when we first came and ask for our amenities we asked for the robes that already are included and the woman was very rude about “it’s gunna be another charge” when i asked the price just to make sure and to double check that i hadn’t already payed witch i did she had to pick up a phone call but it seems as she just thinks we couldn’t afford it or didn’t like that we are a gay couple she then said i could go up to my room and it would be brought up none of my questions being asked. - [ ] the fridge thing they brought up a new one put it kinda near a wall then we had to shift it to the wall to hide the wire from our baby this also didn’t have the medal rod to hold things on the door so ever time we opened it things fell out it was just inconv
