「Good: The room is big relative to its price. The bed is comfortable. The price is cheap. Bad: The key doesn't function well and it is hard to open the door. There is no fan or air conditioner. The area is unsafe. Toilet is smelly when I move in and I have to wash myself. There is no house keeping. It is also a pub so it is noisy at night. It closes at 11pm on weekdays but not sure about weekend. It is better to check yourself if you want to live on weekend.」

「Good place to stay. Could do with a lick of paint here and there. Window in room broken did not shut properly and because its on a main road, could here road noise, but not a major problem. Remote control for the telly did not work even after changing the batteries and telly screen broken But these things are not game changers so no big worry. 「Overall a good stay at Hockey House, friendly staff, excellent food and a good night's rest. My only concern is that a superior double is nothing more than a standard double just a slightly larger room. No chairs or stool to sit on just a bed, a table with drinks making facilities and a standard bathroom. I would stay again but would ask to see the room first before accepting it as my stay.」
