Disappointing experience
We stayed at this hotel between November 1st and November 2nd, on the last night of our vacation, and chose the hotel for convenience as we had an early flight. It was our third time staying at this hotel, but it’s highly doubtful that we’ll ever stay there again. We arrived in the evening around 9 PM and were assigned a room on the 1st floor, and after staying in the room for about 15-20 minutes we noticed an insect crawling on the curtain (see photo). We notified the reception staff, who were slow and uncaring in responding to the issue, but eventually took care of the insect. About 10 minutes later another insect crawled out from under the bed, and we contacted the reception staff again. They were unwilling at first to change the room for us, as they claimed they were fully booked, and reluctant to help in any other way or offer any compensation, but they finally assigned us a different room on the 2nd floor. We were told to take our time changing rooms and return with the old room keys at our convenience, but instead we were nearly chased from the room by the cleaning lady and the reception staff member, which was rather stressful on top of the experience we already had. I naturally felt the need to check the new room before moving all of our things there, which we tried to explain, and only then were we met with understanding. The new room was bug-free but hadn’t been cleaned in a while, but at this point we were too tired to complain further. Very disappointed.

For an overnight stay with an airport shuttle, this property did the job. While it was convenient and close to the airport, the downside is that there really is not much around the hotel, at least within a reasonable walking distance. During our walk looking for shops and sights, we walked alongside some business (car wash and maybe a mechanic shop). There were a couple sketchy ladies hanging around an intersection that I’m pretty certain were prostitutes. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with the few questions I asked. The only dining option (unless you take a cab) was conveniently located in the hotel. The food was ok, but was just average and a bit pricy. If you need a short stay hotel that will get you to the airport, this hotel is fine, but don’t expect much.

The hotel is convenient, easy access and with free parking. The room was fine, nothing fancy but it was clean and had all what I needed. A special note that the hotel restaurant is surprisingly good. Not just “good for being a hotel restaurant” but we had a really good dinner here.

We stayed here two separate nights. We chose this hotel because the offer secured storage( we had a short trip to Croatia for 3 days). Our first visit was very pleasant with a room that had bottles of water, didn’t smell of being smoked in and there was no card needed to operate lights in the room. Second visit was totally different- no bottled water, room smelled of smoke and lights were operated with the room card which we had no knowledge of this procedure. Staff was blunt and did not offer much information nor were they responsive to the “smokers” smell. I must say the restaurant offered a good menu and the cafe bar was nice for an afternoon coffee.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. One thing that didn't work for us, was the strongly scented towels in the room. Whatever detergent they use caused an itchy rash for me making my 6.5 hour flight home very uncomfortable.
