「The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. 」

「I stayed during a quiet time and left early. The hotel was pleasant but could be a touch better looked after. I found broken lights everywhere from lift to bathroom. Some uninsulated electrics in the room (really unacceptable!). But otherwise a pleasant period property, nicely finished, clean, nice staff, good communication. 」

「The staff were helpful, polite and actually listened to customers. They seemed to genuinely care about providing customer service. The Expedia website lists the Gamston lock as 0.19 Miles from the City ground, (which is why i booked it for the Football and being close) However reality is that it is located 3.8 miles away. not sure if this is Gamston lock capitalising on match day traffic or an expedia anomoly, just be aware.
