「It does what it sets out to be very well. Access arrangements were easy and effective, a code. Sent by text for a numbered key safe, and the property spotless. Plenty of good parking. Room large enough for a short stay and with enough shelving for the purpose. Plenty of power points. Bathroom small but very good and an excellent shower with complimentary body wash etc. The only change we would suggest is that for cold nights, a thicker duvet would be good as even with the extra throws...

「Amazing value for money, room had everything you needed, although a little outdated it did the job but the shower was either red hot or freezing cold no matter what setting we had it on and the shower curtain could have been cleaner... Apart from the shower they are great little rooms, TV even has Netflix etc. Even though we were on a main road it was pretty quiet as we were in the carpark area which is set back from the road 」

Just simplify the room choices and stop offering upgraded rooms at upgraded prices if you aren't going to give the correct rooms upon arrival」

「31 Castle Gate gave us a very clean and comfortable 2 night stay . Private and quiet accommodation clear instruction re parking facilities. Easy access to shops, cafe and relaxing meal/ drink in the evening sat by the canal. Initial access wasn't granted by the code given but a very quickly answered call gave us access for the stay. Thank you to Daniel - very helpful and he also checked in with us to make sure access was ok . Would use the accommodation again . 」

「This was a perfect place to stop in Newark. The owners welcome you so warmly and you feel like you are family whilst there. The room was so lovely and the bath was wonderful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the homemade marmalade was excellent. We certainly will go back there again. 」
