「The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. 「Needed a place to stay last minute as i was too tired to put up my tent on a motorcycle tour in France. I was delighted to find this accommodation, which was a nice drive both through country lanes but also accessible from the main roads. The reception staff, Fabien and Anne Lyse were very welcoming, helpful and couldnt do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable. I opted not to have breakfast, and this resulted in me having 14 hours' unplanned sleep in a very comfy bed. Coffee is on tap and...

「Il faut bien dormir quelque part lorsque l'on ne peut pas rentrer chez soi. Hotel pas cher mais c'est vraiment basic. Accueil sympatique. L'eau chaud à mis beaucoup de temps à arriver, l'oreiller a la taille d'un petit coussin de canapé, Le chauffage d'appoint posé au sol sans pied ni roulette chauffe mais c'est dommage de ne pas utiliser les radiateurs principaux. La grande fenètre sans rideau....ha oui il faut fermer le volet ! minimum ! Restaurant était correct. Petit déjeuner dans l'hotel...

「So the rooms DO NOT HAVE A LIVING ROOM - Only a kitchen and two bedrooms. The place is nice and right on the beach with plenty of space and no dog restrictions. We enjoyed our time just limited space when it rained」

「Wonderful place - just like the pictures on the website. Rooms were clean and nice. Excellent hospitality, the whole family was pleased. The owner explained everything well, gave good advice about the landmarks near Normandy. Just all and all a very good place to stay. The atmosphere was amazing and cozy in a way. If you like history that involves WW2, this hotel is an excellent place and a must to stop by for. 」

「Stayed for three nights, the entire property is gorgeous, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the breakfast was excellent, the owners are very nice and welcoming. Grandcamp-Maisy is a very nice town and the food and staff at Restaurant de la Marée is seriously top notch, lots to do in the surrounding area as well.」
