「I was charged the IVA Tax even when I presented our american passports. I was told because the passport did not have the entrance stamp but we entered the country using biometrics which basically does not stamp the passports. I tried to speak with the manager but that person did not have the courtesy to get in touch with me, I was told she was at lunch at 12 but also at 2:30, I guess a long lunch … but at least she should have tried to get in touch with me, we were there 2 nights 」

「This is a really gorgeous hotel. Large rooms, comfortable beds, and the central courtyard surrounding the pool is really a beautiful, unique space. The price, less than 80 bucks a night, is outstanding for a building like this. However, the food and service are not particularly good. Freddy was a great waiter and the gals in the spa were wonderful but in general staff was not very attentive. Great value for the price but lots of room for improvement in staff training.」
