The room was great! The upgrades were appreciated and well done from the linens to the new shower. It was exactly what we needed for the night and the bed was very comfortable. We will be back!

This is a great, affordable place to stay in Banff. It is newly renovated, has comfortable beds and the rooms are outfitted with a mini fridge, microwave and kettle and Rocky Mountain Soap Company toiletries (which I love!). The decor is bright and fun. The coffee situation could be better as you have to pick it up or request it from the Canoe Hotel and make it with hot water and a filter. I would much prefer individual pods or an actual coffee maker. The highlight is the access to the hot pools at the Canoe Hotel and Suites.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed with the cleanliness. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a clump of hair on the bathroom floor, which was unpleasant. The room temperature control system was another major issue—it fluctuated between too hot and too cold throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. On top of that, the fan noise was constant and quite disruptive. On the positive side, the location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, given the overall experience, I’d say you get what you pay for. Next time, I’ll definitely choose a better hotel.

We love the intimate size of the motel and the charming art work in the rooms. We also love the location of the motel at the edge of the forest - we have stayed there several times over the years, and hope to be back.

It's fine. Large room with modern fixtures for an affordable price. I don't like that they advertise facilities (e.g. hot tub) that are in a separate outbuilding a block away across a major intersection. Keycard also doesn't allow you to use the lockers so you need to leave your belongings unsecured. Turn down service didn't address any deficiencies in the room. We were out of shampoo and loo roll and they only resupplied our towels, which was totally unnecessary. Ok value for money but this property needs to focus on guest services a bit more.
