"The hotel has a mix of apartments and regular rooms which are small but very well organized and up to date. Our bed was a comfortable king in a standard room which had a cathedral ceiling with a fan, no AC which was needed on day 1 our stay but not day2 ( early September). An extra fan was provided. Windows provided a lovely breeze.Location on the main square proved to be very quiet. An excellent restaurant - MUMM is around the corner. The hotel has a cafe that serves lunch and dinner....

"The hotel is visibly old and could do with a refurbishment. The room was spacious but primitive. The restaurant is recently overtaken by two younger chefs and is excellent. "The owner did everything. He was the best traditional innkeeper I have ever encountered. He was very helpful with checking ferry times etc for us. My wife was looking for a nativity and he put us in contact with shopkeepers who might be able to help. The building itself had lots of character and history. Breakfast was excellent. I really enjoyed my visit to the Museum Langelandsfort in Denmark. It is on the site of a former active military base and has a wide range of military hardware and displays. There were artillery guns, bunkers, equipment rooms, submarine, minesweeper boats, tanks and fighter aircraft on display. Unlike other similar museums which lock everything away this one allows you to get up close and personal, touch walk through and even operate some of the equipment. Allow at least 3 hours as it is a big site with a fair amount of walking in between exhibits. As a suggestion, more translation of the displayed information into English, maybe an app or audio guide would be helpful in increasing the experience for international travellers.
