「We came here at an off-peak time so the area was very quiet. The hosts were lovely, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and so thoughtful and homemade. Every member of the staff is exceptional in their professionalism. 「Paulo, the owner, was very attentive and friendly and gave us wonderful service. We were late for check-in and Paulo greeted us after 11pm with a big smile. He gave us all the information we needed, including tips on Portuguese cuisine. The property consists of an old Portuguese house, from the 1800s. It is charming, clean, and has everything we needed for a good night's sleep.」

「O chalé fica num lugar muito bonito, pena que não vimos neve. O hotel ao qual os chalés ficam ligados, não fornecem café da manhã e refeições depende de ter ou não vaga para tal. Se for ficar aqui, leve tudo para se alimentar. O andar debaixo é piso frio, o que torna desconfortável, para ligar o aquecedor (salamandra) deve pagar para usar, o 1º uso é gratuito. Os quartos são razoáveis, mas a disposição que me deram para 5 pessoas foi um pouco ruim.」

「The resort is amazing! I loved the calmness. The outside pool had a perfect water temperature. The SPA pools were a bit too hot and the water is too deep, not ideal for small people. I loved the relaxing area next to the river. The massage was also amazing. The staff was lovely. I had dinner in the Root restaurant, my dish was good, especially the caldo verde. 「This was the best hotel in our Europe tour. Villagge where hotel is, is lovely, small village in the middle of mountains. Room had it's oen kitchen so I could made my own breakfast, which was good cause breakfast was served starting 9.00 am .. I wake up at 4.30 so I couldn't wait that long to get something to eat. 😄 I will come here again.. loved it!」
