I had a very disappointing stay at Ramada by Wyndham Austin South. I booked this hotel for a couple of nights, expecting a comfortable and convenient stay, but it turned out to be a frustrating experience. From the moment I arrived, I could tell things were not well-managed. There was construction all around the property, which made it difficult to navigate and created a lot of noise throughout the day. It certainly didn’t feel like a relaxing or welcoming environment.
The staff was another major letdown. They didn’t seem to care much about guest experience, offering minimal assistance and showing little enthusiasm for their jobs. Any time I asked a question or needed something, the responses felt indifferent, as if I was inconveniencing them. A friendly and attentive staff can make a big difference, but unfortunately, that was not the case here.
One of the biggest disappointments was the false advertising regarding breakfast. The hotel listed breakfast as included in the stay, but when I arrived, there was no breakfast at all. This felt misleading and unprofessional, as I had factored that into my decision to book the hotel. If they are no longer offering breakfast, they should update their listing to reflect that.
Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I would not stay here again. Between the construction, uninterested staff, and misleading amenities, there was nothing enjoyable about my stay. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you
