If you don't mind unreliable hot water, no breakfast and no coffee in the room, you'll love this place. During my 4-night stay, there was only lukewarm water more than half the time. After reporting this to the front desk, I was told that a mechanic would look into it. When I returned at the end of the day, still no hot water. I was then told that the solution was to move to another room, but that might not solve the problem either. When hot water in the new room ran out, I was told again that I could move to a 3rd room, but the inconvenience from the first move made me stay where I was. I asked Ruth, the property GM, for an adjustment on my bill, but was told that since I booked through Expedia, any adjustment had to be requested through them. I asked for documentation of the situation to present to Expedia, but she told me she could not do that. I also asked her why no hot water, and she told me rooms on the 4th floor sometimes run out of hot water because they are rooms farthest from the boilers. Incredible! This whole situation could be chalked up to "you get what you pay for," but under no circumstances should this kind of "service" be acceptable, regardless of whether it's a budget hotel or not. I'll never book again at any hotel in the chain that owns Motel 6. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere. There are many other hotels in the general vicinity of this Motel 6.
