Our booking was for a standard room with 2 double beds. The beds were very comfy and the array of pillows offered - firm and soft - were much appreciated.
The parking offered was secure and close to one of the external 'tower' entry points which made it easier to unload our gear.
The hallways of the Holiday Inn are quite dark and dated and could well do with an upgrade. Carpet in these areas as well as our room need a deep clean or total replacement, they are very stained and worn in places. That aside, the cleanliness of the room was fine although a bit of mould was evident in the corner of the bath and because we moved one bed up against the wall, it was obvious that the area beneath the bed when in position, does not get vacuumed.
We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, with many options to choose from.
Having/using the electronic checkout kiosk is a great feature and suggest getting more of these - there was a long line when I arrived at reception to checkout so it was great to be able to use this.
Overall a very pleasant overnight stay that we would be happy to do again. Perhaps next time we could make further use of the other facilities offered e.g. gym and swimming pool.
