I paid for a room online for my anniversary. Got there at 2:28pm went inside to check in. It was dark there were 2 employees.1 walked past me, the other was at the desk. I wasn’t greeted so I said “hi, I need to check-.” The employee (Mr. Gus) cut me off and said the power is out and he can’t check nobody in right now. I was like awe man, do you know an estimated time frame when it’ll be back on? He said no. I’m trying to restart this computer right now they don’t tell us time frames. It’s a power outage. Ain’t no time frame.it could be 30 minutes , it could be 2-3 hours. We don’t know. He was so rude but I didn’t get mad I asked if it is hours, will you guys be compensating anyone who can’t check in?(mind you I only booked for one day. And I made him aware of that) he said I don’t know what they’re gonna do. We’re worried about getting the power back on right now. By this point, I’m annoyed, I said ok. Well I just drove 5 hours here and I check out tomorrow, if I’m not even able to enjoy my room at all, then I need to be refunded. He kept disregarding me and saying they’re trying to get the computers up right now. Upon me getting ready to walk away, the power came back on at 2:37pm his computer came up and he goes well you can’t check in until 3:00 so you still have to wait. I walk out. 2 girls went in at 2:53 I went back in at 2:55 and Mr. Gus was checking them in BEFORE 3. I will never stay here again. Oh and I had to wait hours for a room key. Worst experience I’ve had.
