「We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. 「Once again and lovely stay, everything was clean and welcoming, only issue we had which is not the Hotels fault is that someone was smoking weed in their room and it stunk the hallway out and I hope that issue will be dealt with but other than that it was a very nice stay. 」

「The city centre is within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is marvellous, choose between continental, cooked or both. The hotel is on the main road, so during school and home time it is very busy and you can hear the cars, but at night it is very quiet. 「The shower head was covered in limescale and the silicone sealant mouldy, and the toilet rocked a little when you sit on it, the bedroom was spotless though, the staff lovely and the food was good! 」

「This was probably the weirdest hotel experience in my life. The huge manor has been converted to a hotel but has been neglected recently (including a time housing asylum seekers - Google it). The time around 10 of the 100+ rooms are being used so you “rattle around” especially when you’re the only guests!! 「Never again! When I arrived they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the booking confirmation. After almost an hour they agreed to give me a room. When we were in the room it was freezing, it was -2 in the room, we tried the heating but it didn’t work. Asked reception to move us but they said they didn’t have any other rooms made up. We left at 6am because we couldn’t stand the cold.」
